Holy glow!

Back home in Israel B"H..
I am getting back the glow of Israel..
(or maybe it's the moisturizer I just put on?)

(definitely.. the glow of mitzvos from the joy of honoring my father.. by just being around.. being happy, singing all the time.. especially our midnight jams.. and the yummy treats..)

I have just digested an art piece..

(we all do.. every time we eat..)

I am a big fan of experiential interactive art.. I loved PS1 today..

The best part was Senam Okudzeto 'Portes-Oranges' a room filled with 1000 oranges..
The oranges were almost as good as the oranges I ate while sitting under the shade of an orange tree @ an orange orchard in Morocco..


I also liked the piece 'high plane'.. climbing up the ladders and becoming a part of the snow mountain hilltops view..



also the concept of Emergency Room - art 24/7 as it is happening right now..

I almost forgot the tire chair.. that was fun!!

and crawling in the cubic yard spaces.. that was fun too..

and cloudless a huge cloud installation made of 12 ladders and 50,000 plastic cups..

and reading the stories behind 'not for sale'..

I think PS1 remains my favorite.

The sculpture center in Long Island City also has cool stuff.. they get some additional points too for allowing me to keep my skates on at the museum.. It was a fun skate park around the installations.. especially in the basement.. with the train tracks.. and the spooky rooms.. and the surprise decline ramp in the pitch black screening room..

We had a great jam near the beach.. (Seagate) with supertalented shoshana and dear friends Rachel and Eliyaho.. Shoshana has all kinds of fun instruments to play around with.. and the music BH was happening!! I hope we will bring it outdoors IYH with the nice weather.. and hopefully do it on a frequent basis.. It was really beautiful! thanks..

I didn't give up on the beach.. After the jam, I went there on my own and jammed.. and froze.. and skated.. then continued with the train home..

ha! ha! ha!

I am back in NYC..

I went to a laughing yoga class..
it was so much fun!!!!

I couldn't stop laughing the next few hours!

highlights of my Peruvian Adventure

Lima huacachina lima.. friday sweat rush to a hostal/room.. miraflores, arequipa, chivay, colca canyon candle, puno lake titikaka at night, carnival, floating islands, Cuzco, otatambal, dutch family at the train station.. 'maybe I'll come back'... fantasy dreamlike eerie midnight hike @ aquas calientos, inca trail, machu piccu, hiking to mount machu piccu peak.. to the flag.. which appeared to be in the early morning.. days away.. and was almost not going to do.. Thank G-d I did.. the views climbing all the way there were just absolutely amazing!! it was just getting better..
