(shriki.. I sense your still bothered a bit. I hope this helps. I understood what you wrote. When I replied “I don't understand your comment.” I meant to say - I don't understand what you are getting at... I believe we believe in the same truths.)

I believe you agree with the statement that G-d has sent us here to this world

-- on a journey--

-- on a life adventure --

to reveal holiness into this world..

and we are to live it with passion and excitement...

every moment is a new moment - a new adventure!

So when I was quoting live free's post, I, of course, meant it foremost - 'adventure' - referring to 'our life’'s mission'

...and if 'adventure' (great outdoors, adrenaline pumping x-treme sports, living miracles) is one's life adventure to get there -- to connect to G-d -- to bring Heaven into this world (it surely is conducive)… then that maybe is one’s way...

There are all kinds of people in this world…

with their dreams, talents and strength...

with a mission...

only they can accomplish!

There are scientists, artists, musicians, traders, financial analysts, teachers, deep sea divers, organic farmers, well diggers... male/female… all with different set of tools.. and that's what Hashem wants...

-- we have to remember however --

to use it all to serve one Gd -

to respect each other -

and help each other get there...

Everything in our world..

every moment...

we can

and should

infuse it with holiness...

and if G-d put us somewhere, someplace at some time...

-- there is a reason--

and we can chose to

-- uplift that moment --

-- the surroundings --

-- the people around us--

-- ourselves--

the world!

But we are free--

and we can chose not to--

-- this is our life adventure --

We are constantly challenged--

in our day to day life --

not --

to focus on the superficial

and forget about the purpose

the essence

Even while doing the holiest thing - studying Hashem's Torah - one can, G-d forbid, forget about the essence - the core - and chose not to focus on Hashem but do it for ulterior egocentric motives..

This is our challenge every moment... in every profession, in our personal life, where ever we are, every minute...

Every thing חומרי in this world… materials, talents, desires... and in this case what you're referring to as ‘tiyul’ can lift us up...
Therein in itself -- without any G-dly element -- is not what I am commending in my original post on this subject: 'happiness is real when it is shared'... into the wild!

I bless us all with clarity in our life adventure...

to realize what our unique contribution to this world is...

and to use all our circumstances, unique gifts and desires..

to serve Hashem

with passion, sincerity and pureness of heart!

My interpretation - what the poem whishpered to me yesterday…

all of being whispers…

if it whispers to you.. life affirming messages.. that lift you up… and make you fly like a beautiful butterfly… listen to them… tune in to the beautiful melody… smell the sweet fragrances…

and if not… if they drag you down.. no no… get away… get away… it is to you forbidden.

Choose…

Choose life... it’s right in front of you… whispering to you sweet ‘everythings’ into your ear..

If you real want to hear it… you will.
